Portugal gastronomy is so rich and diverse as the landscapes and its historical heritage!

From north to south, from the interior to the coast, Portugal is a country with strong and unique tradition in the kitchen which can be enjoyed with supreme wines from different trade mark regions famed overseas.

The coast offers seafood and fresh fish which are presented to you in stews and casseroles. You can also taste the fish from the many rivers and lakes.

From the mountains, you can try goat recipes, such as chanfana, roasted lamb or veal.

The sausages are typical from of the Interior of Portugal but you’ll find it all over the country: maranhos, morcelas de arroz, farinheira, negrito or alheira.

There are certificates cheeses for all tastes: dry, fresh, buttery, mild flavor or intense, all excellent choices.

Delight yourself with unique deserts, made according with ancient recipes from one of the many Portuguese convents. Enjoy a simple grilled fresh fish and try some seafood abounded all along the coast.

The most traditional Portuguese recipe “Cozido à Portuguesa” is a stew with all sort of meats, typical sausages and a rich panoply of vegetables, cooked in a succulent way.
